Someone said to me the other day…"where do you get all these beautiful clients?"  Actually it is a phrase I hear quite often and one that I don’t quite know the answer to.  Some could say luck, but I think it is more than that.  The world is a beautiful place to me.  Beauty is everywhere and in everything.  I think that is part of what makes what I do so enjoyable.  I don’t make people beautiful, I simply bring out the beauty that is already there.  I capture a bit of their spirit and transfix it on paper. That sounds like such an obsolete thing when in actuality it is such a powerful event. 

The children I photographed this weekend were all the sweetest little people and did I mention….GORGEOUS.  Maybe it is a bit to do with luck too..:)

It is late so I will try to make this short but I had to post about my session with Dylan.  OMG….I had this fantastic idea to go jump on the metro link in between stops and snap a couple pics and jump back off before the train left.  That was the plan anyway…but no, the train pulled out of the station with Dylan and I inside and his parents left behind at the depot.  I almost peed my pants and the look on Dylan’s face was priceless.  It was seriously that scene from Clueless when they accidentally get on the freeway and start hysterically losing it.  Neither one of us had ever been on the the train and had no clue where we were going to end up.  All ended well though, we laughed really hard about it once we figured out our lives were not in danger.  Thanks for laughing with me Dylan!!

Anywho, this kid was soo darn cute!  Doesn’t he look like Adam Brody…long live the O.C…or long remember the O.C.

Ok…I will get to all other sneak peeks tomorrow…I promise…it is just 1 am and I have to be up at 7.  I need my beauty sleep.

This image is why.  I get to take an otherwise forgotten moment in time and suspend it forever.  A moment that would have otherwise been shuffled along with all the other moments in a day and forgotten.  I get to take that moment and bottle it up so it can be remembered forever…cheesy you say?…yep, but that is the way it is.

…no need to bore you all with the details, but boy was it a doozie!  We went back to my hometown, ole CG, this weekend.  Friday night. my homegirl Jill and I decided to go out on the town…little did we know that we were the only ones in Cape with that idea.  Usually when I hit the town I see lots of old friends, primarly the reason Danny doesn’t usually go, it’s a roaring Cape reunion and he gets bored out of his gorde.  Not this time…oh wait, we did see good ole Tom, can I tell you how bored he was with Jill and I’s conversation…poor Tom!

Anywho, I did a few sessions.  Haven’t gotten around to all of them, but thought I would post a few sneak peeks here

First up the HOT mama!  I wish I had a picture like this of me with my kids….”I am mommy…here me roar…or just look hot!”

Next I did a group family shot for my second family…oh could they tell you some stories about me. Hopefully Jill and I’s rendition of the gorilla’s in the mist from 1994 has been destroyed…

First is Luke’s buddy Isaac…

and Finally, new baby Drew…He was such chunker…9 lbs 6 oz. at birth.  That was almost double the size of Luke and Stella…lol

…that pretty much sums up my weekend.  All in all the were many more pleasing events than bad ones but the bad ones sure defined it.  I’ll start with the good.  It was our 6th anniversary!!!  Yay almost made it to the 7 seven year itch…They say if you make it through 7 years your golden…only one more to go…in all honesty though, I could not ask for a better man…

…back to the story…we went to dinner…a wedding…I went out with the girls…went shopping…your thinking yeah…sweet weekend…

well…Saturday night Stella suddenly couldn’t walk, Literally falling all over the place like a drunk person, and her left eye was droopy and out of sorts…to top it all off, she was 2 hours away from me(insert completely freaked out mother here)

She is fine now, still has a bit of a temperature, but they think she just had a virus that was causing inflammation of her vestibular something or other…THANK GOD…

Anywho, the long awaited sneak peeks are finally here…

they are a strange creature that I do not think I will ever fully understand.  I mean, what is so hard about asking a stranger for directions.  I have no problems asking for assistance when I am in need.  We decided to go to Grafton to Eckert’s Farm and go apple picking(bonus…a photo op for me…lol)  We went last year and had a great time!  Well, once we got over the ferry things started to seem a tad unfamiliar.  The genius that I am said " Hey hun, pull over and I will ask if we are headed in the right direction"  Dany hastily replies "Who you gonna ask?"  I matter of factly say  "I’ll go up to a house or ask the people behind us"  Danny says "No, look at all the other cars going the same way we are.  I guarantee we are going in the right direction"

2 HOURS and 2 SCREAMING KIDS later…we arrived.  Danny is in the dog house…

Life ain’t it grand…

It was truly grand this weekend.  First I got to take pictures of the most beautiful little twin ladies…They were all sass and spunk and sweetness and love.  And their mom dressed them so darn cute!!!

Then I got to photograph Fabi again but this time her little brother Alejandro was the star…

and oh was he a star…a bright shining gorgeous one…

and look at this pic of them together.  Veronica and Dan…I hope you know how lucky you are that you got this…It took me 4 years to get the perfect shot of my kiddos…no joke
