….well, I had some time between sessions today and I thought I would try and take a few pictures of myself.  You other pro photogs know how hard this can be….trying to hold a heavy camera with one hand, and with that SAME hand manage to focus and press the shutter, all the while trying to appear like your not taking the picture…LOL…nearly impossible.  I did manage to pull off one shot.  da da da dum….just me

…how can there be so many beautiful people in one family!  I don’t understand.  The "Brotherly love" boys are from the same family and they are no exception…good genes I guess!  Not fair to the rest of the world.  Well, here they are in all their beautiful glory!  Mr. A…aren’t you glad you took pictures today…All you sixth grade girl out there….eat your little hearts out!  Without further ado….

Well, today is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.  A lot of things cross my mind as I sit and ponder what it must have been like to witness the birth those thousands of years ago…and then I look at my own children and think about the sacrifice God made in the name of love.  It is a sacrifice I cannot imagine.  One that would take strength I know I will never have.  I am so thankful for the Lord’s strength and his mercy and his love. I am thankful for my family and our good health and the ease at which we are able to face each new day.  I am also painstakingly aware that not all of the worlds’ people are so lucky.  My heart and prayers go out to them today and everyday.  Here is my prayer…

I pray for all who are suffering..

I pray that this year..the world becomes colorblind…

I pray that those who have been given authority use it wisely and put the best interests of our planet and it’s inhabitants first…

I pray that faith is something that we can all share…peacefully…

I pray that love fills out hearts each and everyday…

…if they were, I would plead with this family because my boy + either of their girls = gorgeous grandbabies for me!!!  Whoa am I thinking way too far ahead!!  I have to say this family was so wonderful to work with!  I knew it was a good fit when mom gave me hug when I introduced myself…anyone who knows me can vouch for the fact that I call everyone honey or sweetie or baby and I always hug people when I meet them…and she was the most relaxed mom I’ve ever worked with!!…and boy did those girls love their daddy…little "M" almost did cartwheels when he showed up!! Now, on to the really good stuff…those GORGEOUS girls…Meet my new spokeswomen…Miss "L" and Miss "M"

I never get any shots of my Stella and I ran across this one tonight that was taken a while ago and thought…I love this shot and decided to process it!  Isn’t she just the most beautiful thang!!!!

Ok so we went to this laundromat that I have been eyeing for a while now and I took some shots of my mister.  It is the perfect little laundromat…50 years old, floor to ceiling windows, and the most interesting characters dwelling inside.  The best part is I don’t even think any of them even noticed I was there…I think I can have that non effect on people sometimes!!!

As you can tell Stella was not as cooperative…hence none to share of her!! Ughhrrr!!
